Home prices increased in Dayton during the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Dayton rose by $152,500 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $455,000 - a 50.4% increase over the $302,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Dayton in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,498, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
