Median home prices in Dayton rose to $493,000 in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Dayton rose by $152,600 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $493,000 - a 44.8% increase over the $340,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Dayton in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,498, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
