2020: Hanover experienced a 22.6% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in Hanover rose by $70,000 while total sales decreased by 46.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $380,000 - a 22.6% increase over the $310,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Hanover in 2019.

The median sales tax in Hanover for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,166, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for 2020.
