Falling home prices in Dayton in 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in Dayton fell by $40,000 while total sales decreased by 19.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $305,000 - a 11.6% decrease over the $345,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 61 homes sold in Dayton in 2019.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,498, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for 2020.
