What happened to the median home price in Hanover during the second half of 2020?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Hanover rose by $128,620 while total sales decreased by 57.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $375,000 - a 52.2% increase over the $246,380 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Hanover in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Hanover for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,166, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
