Orono median home prices fell by 40.9% in the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Orono fell by $339,100 while total sales decreased by 42.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $489,900 - a 40.9% decrease over the $829,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Orono in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Orono for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,598, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
