City Of Champlin issued the following announcement on May 29.
The Anoka-Champlin Fire Board is accepting proposals to provide management services for the Fire Department for the next four to six months, or until a new Fire Chief is hired. Interested applicants should assist in managing the daily operations of the department, mentor current employees, and evaluate the operational readiness of the Fire Department. At the end of the contract, a formal report will be delivered to outline recommendations for the Fire Board to consider on the Department’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). The report shall be submitted no later than 30 days after the end of the management services contract.
