Kristin Robbins, a Minnesota state legislator, has recently shared her positions on energy policy, girls’ sports, and infrastructure through several posts on her social media account.
On October 9, 2025, Robbins criticized the state's current approach to energy mandates in a post stating, ".@Tim_Walz energy mandates are not achievable & will make energy less reliable, while driving up costs for businesses & families. We need to work toward increasing renewable energy use while still ensuring power is reliable & affordable." In this message, she addressed Governor Tim Walz's policies and called for balancing renewable energy goals with reliability and affordability.
The following day, Robbins expressed support for maintaining the integrity of girls’ sports. On October 10, 2025, she posted: "Proud to fight to protect girls’ sports!"
Later that same day, Robbins discussed Minnesota’s infrastructure needs after visiting a local project. She wrote: "Great afternoon touring this project and leaning more about our state’s infrastructure needs. We are woefully behind on preservation of state assets. We need a Governor who prioritizes maintenance & investment in roads & bridges."
Robbins serves as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives and has focused much of her legislative work on issues related to economic development and public policy. The topics highlighted in her recent posts—energy reliability and cost concerns under Governor Walz’s administration; advocacy for girls' participation in sports; and calls for increased investment in infrastructure—reflect ongoing debates within Minnesota regarding environmental regulation compliance costs (including the impact of renewable energy targets), transgender participation in athletics at the state level, and funding shortfalls for road and bridge maintenance.
