Removegrass

City of Champlin issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.

Buckthorn is an invasive species that can quickly spread and takeover urban forested areas. This creates competition for space and nutrients for native trees and species. The City of Champlin will have crews working to remove buckthorn and deadfall in Oxbow Park starting the week of Jan. 5th. Any inquires can be directed to Charles Lehn, Parks and Facilities Manager, City of Champlin at 763-923-7163, clehn@ci.champlin.mn.us
