Hennepin County issued the following announcement on Dec. 31.
We're exactly 9 months out from the REAL ID deadline.
Starting October 1, a REAL ID or passport (or other TSA-approved ID) will be required to board a flight, even within the U.S.
Avoid a hassle later; get your REAL ID soon.
