City of Golden Valley issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
At its Dec 3 meeting, the Golden Valley City Council adopted the City’s proposed 2020-2021 biennial budget and 2020 tax levy (payable 2020). The total 2020 budget is $25,073,034. The total budget includes a General Fund tax levy of $19,649,140 and a bonded debt levy of $5,423,894.
The council reduced the budget by $195,000 from the original budget presented.
The adopted City budget for 2020-2021 will be posted on the website in early January.
