City Of Golden Valley issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.
The deadline to pre-register for the Nov 5 election is Oct 15, 5 pm.
State law requires Minnesotans to be registered at their current address before they are allowed to vote. Registrations remain current until voters move or change their names. Voters must also re-register if they have not voted in the last four years.
Golden Valley offices will be open until 5 pm Oct 15 to give residents more time to visit City Hall and pre-register before the election. For more information about voter registration, visit the City website or call 763-593-8012
