Kristin Robbins, a public official and Minnesota state legislator, posted several messages on her social media account on November 10 and 11, 2025. Her posts addressed historical remembrance, military appreciation, and local community engagement.

On November 10, Robbins commemorated the anniversary of a significant maritime tragedy. She wrote: "Remembering the crew & families of the Edmund Fitzgerald on the 50th Anniversary of the wreck. Honoring the 29 who died & the brave sailors on the William Clay Ford & Arthur M. Anderson who went out searching for them. My Uncle, Don Erickson, Capt. of the Clay, took his crew" (posted November 10, 2025). The sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald occurred on November 10, 1975 in Lake Superior during a severe storm. All 29 crew members perished in one of the most well-known disasters in Great Lakes shipping history.

The United States Marine Corps was established on November 10, 1775 and annually celebrates its founding with commemorative events across the country.

Robbins has served as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives since first being elected in 2018.
