Kristin Robbins, a Minnesota state legislator, used her social media account on November 6, 2025, to criticize various aspects of government spending and oversight in Minnesota.

In a post published at 14:19 UTC, Robbins alleged deficiencies in the office of Governor Tim Walz regarding internal controls. She wrote, "The failure of internal controls in @Tim_Walz office creates opportunity for waste, fraud & abuse of taxpayers’ hard-earned money. Without receipts & time sheet approvals, we don’t know how the money or time was spent. Why has no one been held accountable AGAIN?"

Later that day at 16:02 UTC, Robbins referenced another report about Medicaid fraud in Minnesota and criticized the Department of Human Services under Governor Walz's administration. She stated, "Another MN Medicaid fraud story by @AJInvestigates - another example @MinnesotaDHS failure to catch explosive billing under @Tim_Walz."

In a subsequent post at 18:56 UTC, Robbins questioned the use of taxpayer funds by Hennepin County related to transit projects. She posted, "Another outrageous use of $2.6 million of taxpayers’money - @Hennepin is wasting YOUR money on gimmicks to try to drum up support for a new $3.2 billion light rail project when a more cost-effective BRT line could help address transit needs."

Governor Tim Walz has served as Minnesota’s governor since January 2019. The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) oversees programs such as Medicaid within the state. Hennepin County is the largest county in Minnesota and frequently manages large-scale infrastructure projects.
