Representative Danny Nadeau (R-Rogers) has been named a 2025 Legislator of Distinction by the League of Minnesota Cities. The award recognizes lawmakers who work closely with city officials, seek local input, support League initiatives, and promote partnerships between state and local governments.
Nadeau was recognized for his efforts during the 2025 legislative session, where he collaborated with city leaders and supported policies aimed at strengthening communities across Minnesota.
“I am honored to be recognized by the League of Minnesota Cities,” said Rep. Nadeau. “Building strong, safe, and thriving communities takes teamwork. Throughout this past session, I worked closely with local officials to craft practical solutions that address real challenges, from supporting public safety to giving cities the tools they need to serve their residents effectively.”
As a member of the Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement, Nadeau contributed to legislation addressing public safety duty disabilities. The measures aimed to balance care for injured employees while maintaining stability in the Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire Plan. He also authored legislation restoring local authority for cities over rental licensing and group home spacing requirements.
“I will continue to focus on practical, bipartisan solutions that empower our cities and strengthen the communities I represent,” added Nadeau.
