Kristin Robbins, a Minnesota state legislator, used her X (formerly Twitter) account on September 20, 2025, to criticize Governor Tim Walz and his administration’s handling of fraud allegations and criminal justice policies.

In a post published at 12:38 p.m. UTC, Robbins wrote: "Yet another report on how @Tim_Walz’s agencies had provider-specific, credible allegations of fraud from Managed Care Organizations and yet did NOTHING.

Tim Walz allowed fraud to flourish - we cannot trust him to fix it."

Shortly after, at 12:52 p.m. UTC, she continued her criticism of the governor's leadership with another statement: "Minnesotans want a Governor who will fight fraud, hold agencies accountable & make state gov’t work FOR them, not fleece them.

We don’t have to have 4 more years of Tim Walz! Join Team Robbins! "

At 1:01 p.m. UTC the same day, Robbins addressed issues related to crime and sentencing in Minnesota: "Minnesotans want a Governor who will fight FOR them, not make life easy for criminals. Tim Walz sides with criminals by reducing sentences, refusing to cooperate with ICE to deport criminal illegal aliens, & rejecting increased sentences for violent & repeat offenders. Enough!"

Robbins’ statements reflect ongoing political debates in Minnesota over the management of government programs and public safety policy. Her posts highlight criticisms that have surfaced regarding oversight of managed care organizations under the Walz administration as well as concerns about sentencing reforms and cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

Governor Tim Walz has previously faced scrutiny related to alleged gaps in oversight within state agencies and efforts around criminal justice reform. These topics remain central issues as political figures like Robbins position themselves ahead of future elections.
