Kristin Robbins, a Minnesota state legislator and Republican candidate for governor, used her social media platform to criticize Governor Tim Walz and highlight her ongoing campaign efforts across the state.

On September 18, 2025, Robbins posted: "Tim Walz wasn’t even Kamala’s first choice… he shouldn’t be yours either! Help me DEFEAT him next November https://t.co/yVLGz8dsbm https://t.co/MMaRqAZ090".

The following evening, she updated supporters on her campaign tour in Senate District 35. On September 19, 2025, Robbins wrote: "Another great evening talking to voters in @SD35GOP! County #7 on my statewide tour. Minnesotans are FED UP and ready for a change! 7/87 https://t.co/ZdtwXKM65m".

Later that day, Robbins criticized the policies of Governor Walz and his party. In a post dated September 19, 2025, she stated: ".@Tim_Walz and the Democrats repeatedly championed policies that prioritize criminals over victims of crime and make our communities less safe. https://t.co/dpXSR6YyFR".

Kristin Robbins is currently serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives and has announced her candidacy for governor in the upcoming election. Her recent posts reflect common themes among Republican candidates nationwide who have focused their campaigns on public safety concerns and opposition to Democratic incumbents.

Governor Tim Walz is seeking re-election after previously winning office in both 2018 and 2022. Public debates about crime policy have been central issues in recent Minnesota elections as well as across other states.
