Kristin Robbins, a Minnesota state legislator, expressed her condolences and reflections on political violence and national tragedy in a series of posts on September 11, 2025.

In an early morning post, Robbins addressed the recent killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. She wrote, "I am heartbroken by the assassination of Charlie Kirk & am praying for his family & colleagues. Only 31, he had an incredible impact on our nation-giving hope & courage to young people by speaking truth & debating IDEAS, while also truly caring about his debate opponents." (September 11, 2025).

Later that morning, Robbins commented on the broader implications of political violence. She stated, "Political violence is never acceptable. Freedom of speech is one of the founding principles that makes America exceptional. We must recommit ourselves to embracing, not fearing, robust debate. In honor of Charlie Kirk’s commitment to upholding freedom of speech:" (September 11, 2025).

In a subsequent post marking the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Robbins wrote: "Remembering the victims and the families of the September 11th terror attack. We will never forget them and we will never give in to terrorism, whether foreign or domestic. May God bless and protect the USA. " (September 11, 2025).

Kristin Robbins serves as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives and has previously focused her public statements on issues such as civic engagement and public safety.
