Kristin Robbins, a Minnesota state legislator, used her social media platform in August 2025 to raise concerns about legislative actions taken during the 2024 session and to comment on a recent court decision. In her post on August 18, Robbins questioned the validity of all measures passed in the previous year's session, stating, "This calls into question everything passed in the 2024 session. 'This Court respectfully suggests that if …there has ever been a time for the ‘draconian result of invalidating the entire law,’ that time is now."

The following day, Robbins referenced remarks by Representative Peggy Scott regarding legislative procedures. On August 19, she posted, "As you hear Rep. Peggy Scott saying - it was the 'Grand Theft Omnibus bill.' I’m glad the court is recognizing how egregious this was."

Later on August 19, Robbins expressed gratitude toward a federal agency with another message: "So thankful for the @uscoastguard! "

Minnesota’s legislative process has faced scrutiny over large omnibus bills that combine multiple measures into single pieces of legislation. Critics have argued these practices limit transparency and debate. Recent legal challenges have questioned whether such bills comply with state constitutional requirements.
