Minnesota State Representative Kristin Robbins posted a series of tweets in early August 2025, addressing the termination of the Housing Stabilization Services program by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and acknowledging those involved in exposing fraud within the program.

On August 1, 2025, Robbins expressed support for investigative efforts that led to the end of the program. She wrote, "Agree! @billglahn’s relentless pursuit of truth about fraud in MN has been instrumental in eliminating this program. Great thanks to @AJInvestigates at @kare11, Jay Kohls at @KSTP & @Jenna_Gloeb at @AlphaNewsMN for investigative reporting & @DMNnews Joe Thompson for prosecuting!"

Later that day, Robbins released a statement regarding DHS's decision. She posted on August 1, 2025: "My statement on DHS's announcement that it is ending the Housing Stabilization Services program."

On August 3, 2025, Robbins shared a personal message marking American Family Day: "Happy American Family Day! So thankful for my family and families across our country who give us roots & wings!"

The Housing Stabilization Services program was designed to help Minnesotans with disabilities or other challenges secure and maintain housing. Its closure follows recent reports and investigations into fraudulent activities associated with its administration.
