Riley Leatherman, former Wayzata High School standout, played on Wednesday, March 19 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Wednesday, March 19, former Wayzata High School standout Riley Leatherman’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UConn Huskies.

The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Harrington Athletics Village against Boston Eagles.
