On Monday, March 10, former Wayzata High School standout Jake Berkland’s college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Monday, March 10, former Wayzata High School standout Jake Berkland’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 14-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Point Park Pioneers.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 4 p.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Wayne State Warriors.
