On Monday, March 17, former Wayzata High School standout Jake Berkland’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 19-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Historic Simmons Field. This was their second matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 12:30 p.m. at Bowyer Field against Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
