Saturday, March 15: Maple Grove Senior High School standout Cole Newell’s college team loses to Northern Kentucky Norse

On Saturday, March 15, former Maple Grove Senior High School standout Cole Newell’s current college team, the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northern Kentucky Norse.

The game took place at Bill Aker Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Norse this season.

The Mastodons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Bill Aker Baseball Complex against Northern Kentucky Norse.
