Jake Berkland, former Wayzata High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, May 15 in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Wayzata High School standout Jake Berkland’s current collegiate team the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks lost 3-5 against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at ISG Field at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils in the tournament.

The Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at ISG Field.
