On Saturday, March 22, former Robbinsdale Cooper Senior High School standout Kierra Wheeler’s current collegiate team the Norfolk State Spartans lost 82-69 against the Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Xfinity Center, this was the first game against the Maryland Terrapins during the championship.

Kierra Wheeler’s hometown is Minneapolis and game position is forward.
