On Tuesday, March 18, former Wayzata High School standout Jacob Beeninga’s current collegiate team the Minnesota State–Moorhead Dragons lost 93-65 against the Washburn Ichabods in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Lee Arena, this was the first game against the Washburn Ichabods during the championship.

Jacob Beeninga’s hometown is Maple Grove and game position is guard.
