What is The Optical Academy?
• The Optical Academy is a network of passionate Eye Care Professionals, Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Opticians, and Technicians leading onsite mobile eye care. They are partnering with the Brooklyn Center Health Resource Center to offer a mobile vision clinic for all Brooklyn Center Community Schools students.
• Their Glasses to Glasses Program works within schools to provide vision screenings, eye exams, and eyeglasses to children who fail their vision screening.
• Eyeglasses will be processed and shipped to the school 2-3 weeks after their visit.
• If a child requires further evaluation, their parents/guardians will be notified.
For additional information or if you have any questions, please contact the Health Resource Center at 763-450-3385 Ext. 5100.
