Hanover median home prices rose by 49.5% in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Hanover rose by $188,505 while total sales increased by 175 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $569,500 - a 49.5 percent increase over the $380,995 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Hanover in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Hanover for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,166, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
