Median home prices in Dayton fell to $340,000 in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Dayton fell by $63,890 while total sales increased by 110 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $340,000 - a 15.8 percent decrease from the $403,890 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Dayton in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,498, approximately 1.3 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
