Free printing with your library card

35

Beginning June 1, Hennepin County Library will begin a free printing program for library cardholders. Patrons will be able to print up to 50 black-and-white pages or 10 color pages (or any combination up to $5 in value) every week.

Library cards are free for all Hennepin County residents. Guest passes are not eligible for free printing.

In 2021, the library adopted a new fine-free policy – waiving all previous fine and fee balances and unblocking all previously blocked cards.  If you do not have a library card, need a replacement card, or have questions about previous card balances, please visit or contact your local library for assistance.

Printing without a library card, or above the $5 weekly limit, will cost $0.10 per page for black-and-white and $0.50 per color page.

Hennepin County Library policies protect all library users, including their use of printers and public computers. Read more about our commitment to patron privacy.
