Brooklyn Center Community Schools’ School Board met for a regular meeting on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the District Office. Below are the highlights.
PRESENTATIONS
- Sarah Bratsch, Director of Finance, presented a budget update.
- Josh Fraser, BCS Principal, introduced a group of students to share experiences from their Civil Rights tour from their Civil Rights Dual Enrollment Class with Brooklyn Center Community Schools and North Hennepin Community College. The trip included five Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) visits, connecting with their fellow classmates, visiting Civil Rights Museums, and exploring future educational opportunities.
