May is Jewish American Heritage Month, a time to pay tribute to the generations of Jewish people who have contributed to the United States and influenced culture and society. It is also a time to acknowledge those who have come to the United States fleeing persecution, and the continuing antisemitism that exists today. We must always stand front and center against hate while learning about and celebrating the accomplishments of Jewish people everywhere.
To our Jewish students, families, and staff, what does this month mean to you? What would you like people to know? How would you like to be celebrated? Let us know by emailing communications@bccs286.org.
