HTC students earn nine medals at SkillsUSA

Brooklyn Park, April 18, 2022 – Hennepin Technical College (HTC) students had an outstanding performance at the 2022 SkillsUSA Minnesota State Leadership and Skills Conference. HTC competed in numerous categories in career and technical education and took home nine medals: six gold and five silver. Gold medal winners are eligible to compete in the national competition.

Congratulations to all participants and the HTC medal winners:

Cyber Security

  • Team A: Kaden Andruskiewicz & Wyatt Johnson (Gold)
  • Team B: Nisa Denis and Nuredin Kawo  (Silver)
Diesel Equipment Technology

  • Luke Arndorfer (Gold)
Cabinetmaking

  • Nicholas Kamish (Gold – High School)
  • Duncan MacLeslie (Gold)
  • Carter Kreppner (Silver)
  • Olivia Swensson (Silver)
Technical Computer Application

  • Wendy Olson (Gold)
  • Zhou Zhu (Silver)
