Wayzata Community Church issued the following announcement on Nov. 10.
Friends, we need to be sure and take care of ourselves and each other. In MN we are now at the highest levels of positive Covid cases than we’ve ever experienced. The time is NOW to pay very close attention to our actions. Please, wear a mask at all times to protect yourself and others, and stay at least 6’ away from other people. Celebrate Thanksgiving with those you live with and save the get-togethers with friends for healthier days. If you are able to order and pick up your groceries or take-out meals, please do so. Reduce your exposure risk as much as possible.
Our health care providers are continuing to battling this virus as well as they can, but they, too, are getting sick, resulting in a shortage of providers of care. If you suspect you have any symptoms, please get a test. There are many sites available for drive-through and walk-in saliva testing. When we are armed with knowledge, we can make healthy public health decisions for the good of all. Together, we can tackle this much more effectively. We can do this!
