City of Champlin issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.
Registration is now open for session II of skating lessons at the Champlin Ice Forum. Register before November 12 for classes beginning on November 16.
Taught by professional skating instructors, Learn to Skate USA skating lesson programs are designed create a lifelong love of skating. The foundation of the program is based on a safe and solid skill progression.
You may register online at http://ci.champlin.mn.us/parks-and…/online-registration/ or at the Parks & Public Works Office during business hours.
Due to social distancing restrictions, we will not be offering any beginner classes at this time which includes all Snow Plow Sam classes, Basic Skills classes 1 & 2, and Hockey 1 & 2. Advanced levels will be offered for ages 6 & up.
Due to state mandate, masks are required upon entry to the Ice Forum, however, skaters may remove them upon entering the ice. Skaters are encouraged to keep their distance from one another during practice.
