CITY OF CHAMPLIN: Champlin Votes 2020

City Of Champlin issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.

Reminder that the City of Champlin in-person absentee voting site will be closed on Monday, October 12th due to the federal holiday. The site will re-open on Tuesday, October 13th at 8 a.m. 

In-person absentee voting is taking place at the Champlin Ice Forum, located at 12165 Ensign Ave. N. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. With extended hours on Saturday, October 31st from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, November 2nd from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

In-person absentee ballots will be available until 5 p.m. on Monday, November 2nd. With the exception that those unable to go the polls on Election Day (November 3rd), as authorized under the laws governing agent delivery, can send an agent to take out a ballot until 2 p.m. by submitting the required paperwork, and the agent must return the ballot by 3 p.m. All absentee voters can return their completed ballots to the in-person absentee voting site until 3 p.m. on Election Day.

Champlin voters that received their ballots in the mail have the option to return them by mail or drop them off at the in-person absentee voting site (Champlin Ice Forum) during the hours listed. Ballots must be returned by 3 p.m. on Election Day if returning in-person. You can drop off ballots for up to three other voters but must present ID to do so.
