In Hennepin County, Minnesota, officials are preparing to allow for county staff to return to working in-office.
The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners announced the approval of a COVID-19 plan that prepares the county to bring staff safely back into the workplace, according to KSTP. This means staff will be working in their physical locations rather than from home.
But before employees can return to their physical work locations, all employees will have to do a self screening before going into work, according to KSTP.
When in county facilities, all employees will have to wear a personal protective mask, according to KSTP. Any visitors in the buildings will also be required to wear a personal protective mask while in the facility, the plan states.
The mask requirement went into effect on May 21 and other parts of the plan will go into effect starting on May 25, according to KSTP.
