Dayton home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Dayton fell by $54,500 while total sales decreased by 52.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,500 - a 15.4% decrease over the $355,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Dayton in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,868, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
