Wayzata home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Wayzata rose by $170,100 while total sales increased by 31.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $732,100 - a 30.3% increase over the $562,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Wayzata in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wayzata for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $6,115, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
