Dayton home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Dayton rose by $29,755 while total sales decreased by 64.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $395,625 - a 8.1% increase over the $365,870 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Dayton in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,868, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
