New Hope home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in New Hope rose by $16,000 while total sales decreased by 24.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 66 homes sold, with a median sale price of $261,000 - a 6.5% increase over the $245,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 87 homes sold in New Hope in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in New Hope for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,986, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
