Dayton home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Dayton rose by $63,175 while total sales decreased by 2.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $350,000 - a 22% increase over the $286,825 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Dayton in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,868, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
