CITY OF EDINA: Braemar Golf Dome Opens Nov. 1

Golf

City of Edina issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.

The Braemar Golf Dome, the longest-hitting indoor golf practice facility in the Twin Cities, opens for the season Friday, Nov. 1.

New this year is the addition of Toptracer Range technology in all 44 bays. The ball-tracking technology provides golfers with an array of data for their swing from every club in their bag. Each bay has its own display for golfers to view the information. They also can compete against other golfers at Braemar or around the world and can virtually play major courses.

Braemar Golf Dome, 7420 Braemar Blvd., is the first facility in Minnesota to have this technology. To help accommodate more golfers trying it out, the dome will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, two hours a day longer than last season.

Braemar Golf Dome also includes a large practice putting green so players can work on all aspects of their game. Group or private lessons are available.

Rates are $11 per bucket Monday-Thursday or unlimited balls for $16 per half hour Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A variety of specials run on weekdays. All rates include use of Toptracer Range.
