North High School issued the following announcement on Oct.1.
The votes are in! And after two weeks of well-run campaigns and nail-biting tallying of votes today - we have our winners!
For Secretary, we have freshman Aaliyah Muhammad.
For Treasurer, we have sophomore Kyree Wilson.
For Vice President, we have junior Glenda Young-Shinnick.
And for President, we have senior Tauries Murry.
Congratulations to all candidates for their initiative and courage to run. (We will be reaching out to the other candidates to help with committees.)
And to the students elected today, Great Win! Now let’s get to work!
