City of Golden Valley issued the following announcement on Oct.4.
Golden Valley residents are encouraged to partake in the 2019 Parks and Recreation Scavenger Hunt. Participants are asked to take a selfie in front of the park sign or an identifiable park feature in each of the City’s 20 parks for a chance to win a prize package valued at about $50.
Once all of parks have been visited, submit your park selfies by mail (see sidebar for address), email, in person at Brookview, or upload them to Twitter or Facebook using #gvprchallenge by Fri, Oct 18.
If you’re having a tough time solving clues and finding the right park, follow the City of Golden Valley on Facebook and Twitter where special hints will be given out a few times before the Oct 18 deadline.
