City of Golden Valley issued the following announcement on Sep. 25.
The Golden Valley City Council approved the addition of bike lanes on Glenwood Ave between Hwy 100 and Xerxes Ave N in Minneapolis as part of Hennepin County’s 2020 resurfacing project. The project will also restrict parking along that portion of Glenwood Ave.
The bike lanes are expected to be similar to those installed on Glenwood Ave in 2017 between Turners Crossroad and Hwy 55. These included painted bike lanes with markings and signage, a buffer lane, and vehicle lanes.
