Description

Grades 1-5. Join an artist and a naturalist from Silverwood Park to examine owl artifacts up close and create artwork inspired by what you observe. Learn how the feathers of an owl help them blend into their surroundings, keep them warm and dry, and even allow them to fly silently through the night! Make an art project to take home by metal tooling – emboss a design onto heavy foil, then add color using inks. Materials provided. Stop in anytime during the program to participate! Collaborator: Three Rivers Park – Silverwood Park.
