Stella Wright, Armstrong High School senior, has been selected as Minnesota’s 2023 Poetry Out Loud champion. She will go on to compete in the Poetry Out Loud National Finals in May. 

Two students recently received recognition at the North Hennepin Art Show. Ninth-grade student Elia Blakely-Anderson won the 2023 People’s Choice Award for her digital photograph titled “Family Owned Business.” Senior Jenna Hamann won a Merit Award for her ceramic vase. The 15th annual Northwestern High School Art Show featured art pieces from nearly a dozen high schools in the metro area. The exhibit took place Feb. 6-24. Learn more by visiting the website.
