Winston, his wife, Latrice, and their three children have lived in Brooklyn Park for over ten years. Winston has served two terms as a Commissioner on the Brooklyn Park Budget Advisory Commission and works with local youth to get them engaged and active in civic issues. Winston possesses an MBA from the Carlson School of Management and has worked in operations for several Fortune 500 companies, including; Medtronic, Express Scripts and US Bank. In the September/October edition of Park Pages, he said, “We are facing huge challenges—economic stress, rising crime, and balancing strategic development with our beautiful parks and natural resources… we need fresh ideas, and leaders willing to work in tandem with our communities to solve our challenges. As Mayor I will prioritize environmental stewardship of our parks and community while ensuring we have a public safety plan and youth development program that is effective and inclusive of all of our neighborhoods. We know that we will all be safer when we are all safe.”

Congratulations, Hollies!
